1. Who we are

Who's Home ("we", "us", "our") operates the Who's Home platform and website (the "Service"). We act as the data controller for personal data we collect about you through the Service.

2. Personal data we collect

  • Account data — name, email address, login credentials, referral code.
  • Usage data — reports you run, addresses you search, saved properties, alerts you configure.
  • Support data — messages you send us through support chat or email.
  • Device & log data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, timestamps, referring URL.
  • Marketing data — email addresses submitted via lead-magnet forms (e.g. the free checklist).

Payment card details are handled directly by our reseller Paddle and are not collected or stored by us.

3. How and why we use your data

  • Create and manage your account (legal basis: performance of contract).
  • Provide the Service, including generating reports and saving your history (contract).
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents (legitimate interests).
  • Improve the Service and analyze usage patterns (legitimate interests).
  • Respond to your support requests (contract / legitimate interests).
  • Send product updates and marketing where permitted (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
  • Comply with legal obligations (legal obligation).

4. Who we share data with

  • Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database, analytics, email, and support tooling that operate on our behalf under contract.
  • Merchant of Record (Paddle) — for sale of subscriptions, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers — legal, accounting, and insurance advisers where necessary.
  • Authorities — where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

5. International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside your country of residence. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions to protect your data.

6. Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal, accounting, and reporting obligations. When data is no longer needed we delete or anonymize it.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us via the support chat on our website. If you are in the UK or EEA you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We aim to respond within one month.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege database policies — to protect personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences, and a limited set of analytics identifiers to understand aggregated usage. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may break parts of the Service.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

11. Changes to this Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.

12. Contact

To exercise your rights or ask a privacy question, contact us through the support chat on our website.
